I'd say this was the best con I ever had so far. There were some ups and downs, and some disappointments, but overall it was stellar. The badge selection was lame, except for one badge:



Paprika! Directed by my man Satoshi Kon! Since getting that, I felt it would have been a good con.

I met up with Nate, Meboeck, Peanut, Sepukku, Tokkiklok (They all stayed at my house for the weekend). I also met up with Spoonybard as well as SManBeyond (For the first time). I must also say that SManBeyond is indeed a very cool guy.

The first day was pretty good. I got my photo taken maybe two times at most. For a while I thought I was the only 20th CB fan in the entire Convention Center....

Then Saturday rolls around. We walked inside the artist alley (humongous place XD) and the first thing I saw was someone sitting down in a chair. This person was wearing a clad business suit, a red tie... and the Friend/Tomodachi mask.

So I walked up to the guy, pointed my mask to him. He digged through his coat pocket and gave me a little pin that had the Tomodachi symbol on it. I proudly wore it the rest of the day (Till it broke XD But they gave me a new one). I then got a photo with him. The guy also told me that his friend was around with a Hattori mask (It's the mask that Friend wears before the white one with the symbol on it). I eventually got a photo with them later that day (I am the far left).

So that really made my week. I also got a lot more photos taken on Saturday (To my surprise O.o). Granted most people probably didn't know who I was, but I did find some people going "Oh my gosh! Friend/Tomodachi!' and stuff. It was a blast. It also felt really good to wear a suit and stuff XD I felt smexy and stuff.

I bought some snazzy things in the dealer room. I bought Mad Cow Disease and Tuberculosis... or rather I bought their giant microbe plushies XD They are cuuute. I also bought:

• 20th Century Boys Volume 20 (They didn't have Volume 1 or Volume 22 =( Nor did they have Volume 1 of 21st Century Boys. The man said they were sold out)

I am such a dork. XD

I was annoyed by two friends because they backed out of watching a movie I wanted to show them (At the very last minute too, and they said they would watch it with me). That really irritated me. But besides that, it was good.
